LearnPad has been awarded ‘RUNNER UP’, for the Technological Innovation of the Year category in Teach Secondary’s Technology & Innovation Awards.
In association with LEGO® Education, the launch of Teach Secondary Magazine’s very first Technology and Innovation Awards recognise those individuals and companies whose work is helping to ensure the progress of genuinely transformative education for the future in classrooms across the country.
LearnPad are pleased to be a RUNNER UP of these awards which highlight the increasingly central role that technology plays in teaching and learning and celebrate outstanding and innovative practice.
The final judging decisions were made by a high profile panel of education experts, including Vic Goddard (featured on Channel 4’s Educating Essex); Fiona Millar (Guardian journalist and co-founder of the Local Schools Network); Lydia Beaton (global head of the James Dyson Foundation); Gareth Boldsworth (European Sales and Marketing manager for LEGO® Education) and Ollie Bray (Naace).
The judges rewarded LearnPad as a product, service or resource that has made a genuinely unique and significant contribution to improving standards of teaching and learning at Key Stages 3 and 4 during the UK 2013/14 academic year.
