LearnPad judged to be one of the best…again!
Shortlisted for the Education Resource Awards 2014
The only tablet computer designed specifically for education, LearnPad, has once again been shortlisted for the national Education Resource Awards in the Education Exporter of the Year category.
Organised by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the ERAs continue to highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most inspiring members of the teaching profession, all working together to encourage the very best in education.
Nik Tuson, managing director, LearnPad commented: “Having won an Education Resource Award in the Innovation category last year we are clearly judged to be getting it right!. We have been working hard over the past two years to remain focused on supporting our UK schools, while developing a separate team to concentrate on meeting the demand for our product, internationally. As in the UK, the value of the LearnPad to learning is recognised by schools across the world; it is an exciting time and to be a finalist in the ERA’s once again is the icing on the cake.”
BESA, the sector’s trade association whose members operate to an agreed high level code of practice was also celebrating with 60 per cent of the shortlisted organisations being BESA members.
Winners will be announced at the annual gala event at The Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on Friday 21 March, the second evening of the Education Show 2014.
